We are getting ready to celebrate our first Christmas together! We have a little 4 foot tree (a real one, of course) that is all decked out with lights, ornaments and a star that we bought together. We can't put the presents under it, though, because we have some curious puppies. We have our nativity sets out, the advent calendar hung, and the Christmas music ready to play. We put up icicle lights out on the deck and a winter welcome sign next to the stairs. Andy's parents are here this week celebrating the holidays with us, and we'll be heading to Chicago to be with Jaime's parents on the 24th. It's an exciting time, and we are glad that you are in our lives right now to share it with us.

Side note: The beard contest is wrapping up on December 20th, so we can all look forward to the shaving of Andy's big old beard soon after that. He will, of course, keep some of his facial hair. You saw the picture of his clean shaven face.

Jaime's job is allowing her a great quantity of time to excel in things like check requests, collecting book, food, and clothing drive items, handing out cookies and donuts, and the bee game. She got 22,460 points today!
