stupid house

Why does that house have to be so COOL! DARN IT!

Oh well. Life is good anyway. My parents are coming to visit this weekend, I ate fresh strawberries that were grown in our porch-garden this morning, and it's a beautiful day.

The perfect house - part one.

Jaime and I went house-hunting with our realtor this morning. We found an absolutely PERFECT house on our first try. 1800 square feet, a giant backyard and the perfect floor plan. The catch? One hundred and eighty-thousand dollars AND it's another 15 minutes in the opposite direction from both of our workplaces. While 15 minutes isn't a huge deal for something you only do occasionally, adding an extra hour to our combined driving times isnt' something that appeals to us.

So we're giving it the night to think it over and pray about it then we'll tell Anna (our realtor) tomorrow morning what we've decided. We're pretty sure what that decision will be but you never know how God might work in us. Please pray for us to find the right house and one in the area we'd like to be in.

Thanks------>

I took some pictures of us and the dogs using a digital camera this week, and I'm going to have Andy put them up on the website soon. Then I'm going to have him set it up so that I can put them on myself! I just have a lot more time than him to do those sort of things. He is very busy with freelance jobs, church softball games, and tending to our herb and vegetable garden, which the squirrels and birds find very appetizing unfortunately.

I, on the other hand, need to find a hobby or two. I've tried a lot of different things, but none of them have stuck. I'd appreciate any ideas you have! My main hobbies now are playing with the dogs, cleaning the house, and playing games on the computer. While all three of these are fun, there has to be something else out there.

We have a sister website now for our community group, and you can check that out at www.oureastnashville.com. Andy is creating that site for us to be able to exchange prayer requests, recipes, news, and our group schedule.Very helpful.

For those of you who know my brother and sister-in-law, they are hoping to adopt! They've been in contact with a girl who would like them to adopt her baby, which is due in July, so we are praying that everything works out for the best of all involved. We'd love it if you joined us in our prayers.

That's about all for now! Stay tuned for new pictures - I MEAN it this time.
