One anniversary down, 60+ to go. We celebrated our one year anniversary this past weekend with a trip to Atlanta, GA. What a great city! It seemed a lot like some of our favorite parts of Nashville, with little growing communities full of artsy stores and unique restaurants. There was plenty for us to do there. We visited the World of Coca-Cola Museum, where we tasted coke products from around the world including one of the most foul tasting carbonated drinks I've ever had. We went to a local Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park, ate dinner at Emeril's, visited Underground Atlanta, and had lunch with a friend from the beard contest, where I had the best quesadilla EVER. We also saw two movies, did some shopping, went swimming at the hotel, and just RELAXED. We were on vacation! How nice that Memorial Day fits right in there with our anniversary.
It has been a great year of marriage, and we are definitely looking forward to many, many more!
