Wow, it's the middle of November already! It is just starting to get a little bit chilly outside, but mostly it's gorgeous. I love to wear long sleeves and maybe a jacket and be totally comfortable, and that's where it is right now. Soon enough, as Andy reminds me, it will be snowing. Not much here in Nashville, of course, but we'll get our 1/4" that closes down the whole city.
We moved 3 months ago, and we are finally getting around to painting, picking out curtain fabrics, and demolishing the tile in our bathroom. There is still nothing hanging on our walls, but I'm okay with that for now. Once we get some rooms painted and find some bookshelves that Andy likes we can finish unpacking and hanging all of our various decorations. I will be very grateful to get there.
Andy still loves his job and sometimes even stays late or does work from home simply because he wants to, or because he feels committed to doing good work for his clients. He is learning a lot about programming and about business practices through his experiences at ICG Link. I still feel the same way about my job, too. I'm helping pay off our debt, and that's about all the fulfillment I'm going to get out of working here.
In case you're curious what we're doing for the holidays, we're going to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and Christmas with Andy's parents. This will be my first year away from home for Christmas, which is a little weird. I guess this is all part of marriage, though! And thankfully, Andy's parents are great. I've never had a warm Christmas before, either, so being in Tampa should be a neat experience. We'll have to bring them some snow in a thermos. (Remember when I did that for you, Andy, the Thanksgiving before we started dating?)
I hope you are all doing well, and seriously - keep in touch.
