Christmas always seems like it takes forever to get here, and then it flies by. We just got back yesterday from a great weekend in Tampa with Andy's parents. We were able to get there earlier than we planned because of bad weather in Nashville and a paranoid boss wanting me to get ahead of it. You don't have to tell me twice to leave early! So, we surprised his parents by showing up the night before we were supposed to arrive. When we got there, we sent Nacho in their dog door to say SURPRISE!
We enjoyed time together going out, watching episodes of CSI, watching the dogs play, having friends and family over, and just relaxing. I don't know when the last time I took so many naps was. Also, Carol taught me how to sew with the sewing machine she got me for Christmas! We made curtains for the kitchen. I'll have Andy post pictures some day.
Since this was my first Christmas away from home, my parents and Jon, Mindy and Jackson came to visit us earlier in December for an early Christmas. It was great to have them all at our house. It will probably be a long time before they see it again, and we will definitely have more done.
Well, it's back to work. Luckily it's another short week as there is still some holiday time to be had. Enjoy yours!
