She spent time at the art table, then it was on to legos. Noelle likes being "in charge" and telling the other kids how things are done. She loves to take charge of a project, like center clean up, and we love to give her that priviledge. Played with Clara and Gracyn outside.

September 24, 2009
Lots of smiles today! She enjoyed the watermelon at lunch. Also liked the story "The Tale of Peter Rabbit." That rabbit was naughty. Noelle wanted to be "in charge" of the melons at Circle Time - so did everyone! We rolled them from friend to friend and all was well.

One day last week, I was in the garage switching a load of laundry when I heard Noelle frantically call to me, "Hey Mommy!"

When I rushed out to the living room, the image here is what I saw. Our boy had climbed up on the coffee table and was standing up holding onto the tv. This has turned into a new kind of game for him, climb up and have us get him down. Basically that means we can't leave him alone in the living room, when before he would be fine for several minutes if not longer. What are we going to do when this boy can walk?

September 1:

Busy. Kitchen was her domain. Took care of the babies and cooked. Noa helped. Outside, she had 'pets' (Grey, Daisy, and Liza) who followed her around. She was a Princess. Later, Clara was Belle and Noelle was her dog. All happy and kind to each other.

She accidentally scared a kid while playing monster with some other kids - seemed embarrassed and wouldn't talk about it at first. In a few minutes she did, though. All was well then.

Behavior: Wow! Confident.


September 3:

Played with magnetic dress up dolls - Liza joined in. Noelle was hesitant to let her in, but did in the end and they played together. She sang The ABC Song at Circle Time. Loved doing the hula hoop today. Noelle tried very hard, very gently to help Liza learn to go down the slide. Liza wouldn't do it, though. Noelle said, "Come on, sweetie, it'll be okay!" They played mama (Noelle) and baby (Liza) for a while.
